Makoto OHTA, Associate Professor

He received doctoral degree at Kyoto University in 2001. After post-doctoral fellow in Kyoto University, he moved to Division of Neuroradiology University Hospital of Geneva to develop a arterial biomodel with hydrogel and blood flow in cerebral aneurysm. Next, he was an associate professor of Institute of Fluid Science, Tohoku University on 2005. He was also a visiting professor of ECL in France and EPFL in Switzerland on 2006. Current topic is to optimize design of intracranial stent, biomodel of soft- and hard-tissue for methodology and assessment of medical equipment and standardization.
