Takashi TOKUMASU, Associate Professor

Institute of Fluid Science, Tohoku University

He received doctor's degree at the University of Tokyo in 1998. After one year post-doctoral fellow, he joined the Cryogenic Flow Laboratory, Advanced Flow Division at Institute of Fluid Science, Tohoku University as a research associate in 1999. He was promoted to Lecturer in 2003 and became Associate Professor in 2005 in the laboratory. He moved to Nanoscale Interfacial Flow Laboratory, Non-Continuum Flow and Heat Transfer Division at Institute of Fluid Science, Tohoku University in 2006. He also had taught as a visiting professor in Institut National des Sciences Appliquees de Lyon(INSA-Lyon) in 2008. His main research is the analysis of flow phenomena in molecular scale, especially those in polymer electrolyte fuel cell.
